When Runkeeper said I’d run nearly two miles at an 8:08 pace, I knew it was too good to be true. Especially in this blistering heat. After I saw the route on the map, I could see it was bouncing me back and forth in coordinates rather than tracking a straight line as I ran.
After I manually removed the excessive GPS points on the map, I have a far more realistic distance of 1.25 miles and pace of 11:07.
