Apex, NC candy givers are a most generous lot. M & M’s and Reese’s are Vera’s favorites. Not a lousy old gumball to be seen here!

I do question the pretzels and goldfish though. Not to be ungrateful, but a snack I routinely put in my kid’s lunch isn’t quite a treat. Maybe people want to participate in the giving but really aren’t thrilled with the candy aspect? Or don’t want it in their own house? It won’t go to waste, anyway, and the kids enjoy the activity regardless of what they wind up with.
